Description
New ZX MK II irons are a culmination of fast and pure. A pure feeling at impact, for pure strikes, and a pure sound. With tech-driven ball speed in every iron, energising every shot.
ZX4 presents a sleek, narrow look at address, plus a premium forged feel, all in a hollow head design. But behind these clean-looking Irons is a max forgiveness factor typically only delivered from larger Irons.
Moderate sole width, our longest blade length, and our highest offset maximise the forgiveness of ZX4 MK II hollow Irons while still offering an appealing look at address.
FEATURES:
MAINFRAME
MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern of grooves, channels, and cavities carefully milled into the backside of the Iron face that maximises flex at impact. This second-generation design goes even further, not just boosting COR but repositioning mass away from the face and into the toe and sole for a lower CG.
TOUR V.T. SOLE
Srixon’s unique Tour V.T. Sole takes turf interaction to a whole new level of detail with a proprietary combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches. This technology encourages a smooth glide through fairway, rough and sand to strike the ball solidly without losing speed. Even if you contact the turf slightly behind the ball.
IRON SHAPES
Moderate sole width, our longest blade length, and our highest offset maximize the forgiveness of ZX4 Mk II hollow Irons while still offering an appealing look at address. New for Mk II, every ZX Iron model now features the same top line thickness, so combination sets are even more seamless from address.
FORGED MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION
ZX4 Mk II’s forged HT1770M Steel faces are strong yet light—increasing face flex at impact for enhanced speed and distance—while a 431 Steel body absorbs vibrations for a softer feel. Then, high-density tungsten in the base of ZX4’s long and mid Irons significantly lowers the centre of gravity for an ideal launch trajectory.
HOLLOW DESIGN
Hollow from short to long Irons, ZX4 Mk II is the most forgiving model in the ZX Iron Series—offering the freedom to strike the ball across the face while still enjoying shots that launch straight and find their targets. Yet all that forgiveness comes in a good-looking shape with a sharp address view thanks to the sleek profile only made possible by ZX4’s hollow design.
PROGRESSIVE GROOVES
The 4i–7i feature wide grooves, ideal for longer shots in all conditions. The 8i–AW have deeper, closer set grooves which cut through grass and debris to enhance spin on approach shots. Laser milling between each groove, on every loft, enhances friction in all conditions. The result is congruency across the set, as spin, distance, and launch window remain as consistent as possible.
