Last Week's BMW Championships
Last week was the penultimate event at the BMW. The standings leading into that event had Jon Rahm leading the way. Fellow Europeans, Rory Mcilry and Viktor Hovland were looking for good weeks to enhance their chances of winning the FedEx.
Team Europe hopefuls had a mixed week with Jon Rahm slipping backwards with a poor week and Rory couldn’t quite get the job done. However Viktor Hovlands incredible final round of 61 grabbed him the win and a surge up the standings leading into this weeks decider.

East Lake Golf Course
Established in 1904, East Lake was originally designed by architect Tom Bendelow. His design, which took three years to complete, was short lived. In 1913, the Club hired Donald Ross to completely rework the Bendelow design. Over the years, Ross’ routing remained basically intact. George Cobb did some work in 1959 in preparation for the Club to host the Ryder Cup in 1963. After years of neglect, Rees Jones restored East Lake in 1993. It has been home to the Tour Championship for 22 years offering some of golfs greatest moments.
