We opened our doors in April 2021, still in the middle of a global pandemic, but on the back of already seeing a spike in golf participation from the summer of 2020, it was fantastic to receive such a great reception from the local community, especially as our staff are local to the town themselves. In the past 12 months we have continued to grow, meeting new golfers and getting involved with local golf days and events. We have in recent months developed with the introduction of our build centre upstairs located next to our putting green. Our express build service fronted by local, Posh fan, Lewis Daff, gives our customers the opportunity to have their new clubs build in just 72 hours, skipping the lead times of up to 12 weeks on some models. We have seen a fantastic uptake in this service, keeping Lewis busy, which is great as his passion for club building and repairs is apparent for all to see.
Our message to any customers interested in this service however is, ‘It all starts with a FREE fitting’. Many will know AFGolfStore for our club fitting service as we are extremely passionate about this. Our staff are trained regularly to ensure our customers get the best service with unbiased, honest feedback. We believe every golfer should be custom fitted before purchasing clubs, as no two golfers are the same and therefore, its essential we get to know your specifications with the help of Trackman. For this reason, all of our club fittings are FREE OF CHARGE.
We have a 7-step protocol that will take our customers on a journey from understanding their specifications to knowing what clubs will best suit their game. Our expert fitters are also PGA coaches offering a fantastic coaching service in our indoor swing studio, again assisted by Trackman and Boditrak technology.
