The Science of Speed

Mizuno’s engineers faced an interesting challenge with the JPX925 line. Having already achieved the maximum Coefficient of Restitution (COR) allowed by golf’s governing bodies, they shifted their focus to increasing the surface area that provides the highest ball speed – what they call the CORAREA.

By implementing technologies like the Contour Ellipse and Seamless Cup Face, Mizuno has managed to expand this high-speed area, ensuring that even mishits maintain impressive ball speeds.
